Dana P. Jordan ’75

Dana P. Jordan ’75

I have included Pingree in my estate plan because of my positive experience as a student. Academics of course are important, but there’s something unique about being a member of the Pingree “family”—one where diversity and independence are celebrated under the care of a dedicated faculty and staff.

As part of my estate plan, I created a charitable remainder unitrust (CRUT) that includes Pingree as a beneficiary. While supporting my alma mater in a meaningful way, this giving vehicle provides me with a fixed annual income, the ability to restructure my portfolio by funding the trust with appreciated securities, and an immediate income-tax charitable deduction.

I am happy to help secure Pingree’s future and support the generations of Pingree students and faculty to come.
